This paper focuses on the introduction of a Currency Financial Transaction Tax [CFTT). After analizing the main distorsions affecting the International Financial System (1FS) we present the main characteristics of this tax, which can be considered the most ambition attempt to regulate the IFS.

In this article it is analysed how the process of liberalization and foreign opening that begins in the mid eighties in the Magreb economies, mainly in Morocco and Tunisia, has determined important increases in the degree of internationalization of their productive systems and significant changes in their patterns of foreign trade.

The future evolution of the EU requires a study of scenarios on the relations of Europe with North and South Americas. Globalization is creating a need for world governability and a future strengthening of USA-EU relations. Furthermore. the world economy is moving in the direction of a Single Market, and suggests the need for a North-Atlantic Free Trade Area.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to provide a global vision about the evolution of the international trade theory, and its influence on the economic integration theory in its original version. The analysis deals with the development of the inter-industrial trade and its partition in terms of qualities. Moreover, this study tries to overcome the empirical weakness on trade creation and trade diversion as a consequence of customs unions.

Economic globalisation is used by different trends of economic thought and by different political proposition. However, this expression has very different understanding and implications depending on economics analysis. This paper contains some of the more usual meaning of economic globalisation and it introduces initial empirical evidence of this globalisation on trade, investment and incomes on the world economy.
